Jägermeister is a well-known German herbal liqueur with a sweet and bitter flavour made from 56 different herbs, flowers, roots and fruits. It has an alcohol content of 35% vol. and is produced by maceration and maturation in oak barrels. Since its introduction in 1934, Jägermeister has often been enjoyed chilled as a shot or in cocktails such as the ‘Jägerbomb’. The drink is known for its distinctive green bottle and the stag's head logo, which refers to the hunting tradition.
